Super Happy Dev House

Originally started in Silicon Valely in 2005, SHDH is an all day and all night hackfest and party that combines serious and not-so-serious productivity with a fun and exciting party atmosphere. There’s beer, food, fun projects, lightning talks and much more! The previous two all-day all-night hackathons were unmitigated successes: projects were developed, and new collaborations were formed with developers and programmers.

Social Innovation Camp Asia [KL]

Social Innovation Camps are weekend events held from a  Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and the first one in SE Asia will be from the 9th – 11th of Nov. The Camps are competitions to find the best back-of-the-envelope ideas for web/mobile tools to create social change and a race to build proof of concept ventures for them over one weekend – complete with working software. From now till  Oct 19 we are looking for the best ideas that can marry web/mobile and social change.
